About the Role A growing mobile diagnostic imaging company is seeking a skilled and dependable Mobile X‑Ray Technologist to provide portable imaging services across nursing homes and long‑term care facilities throughout the Bronx. This role helps ensure patients receive high‑quality diagnostic exams without leaving their facility while supporting clinical teams with timely imaging results.
This position is ideal for technologists who are comfortable working independently, traveling between facilities, and delivering compassionate care in long‑term care environments.
Key Responsibilities - Perform portable X‑ray exams in nursing homes and long‑term care facilities
- Travel between multiple facilities throughout the Bronx coverage area
- Ensure accurate imaging, proper positioning, and high‑quality radiographs
- Complete documentation and ensure timely transmission of images
- Maintain and transport portable imaging equipment safely
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care
- Follow all safety, radiation protection, and regulatory protocols
Required Qualifications - Active Radiologic Technologist license
- ARRT certification ( required )
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule
- Strong communication and professionalism with facility staff and patients
Preferred Experience - Portable or mobile X‑ray experience
- Experience working in nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or long‑term care settings
- Comfortable driving throughout the Bronx territory
